Our Guide to Nebulizing Diffusers with Essential Oils for Aromatherapy
Share
Nebulizing diffusers are a great way to use essential oils because they disperse the oil into the air in a fine mist without needing water, allowing you to breathe it in pure essential oils. This is a great option if you have respiratory issues or if you just want to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy. In order to protect the environment and reduce waste, we designed our Nebuilzing diffuser made only of wood and glass.
How Nebulizing Diffusers Work
Nebulizing diffusers work by forcing a stream of air at high pressure through small tubes that contain essential oil. This stream of air turns the oil into a fine mist and distributes it around the room.
Benefits of Nebulizing Diffusers
Nebulizing diffusers do not use water or heat to distribute essential oils into the air. This may make them more advantageous than other types of diffusers. For example, unlike ultrasonic diffusers, nebulizing diffusers do not use water to create mist, and so do not increase levels of indoor humidity. Also, some diffusers use a candle or another heating element to evaporate the oil. However, essential oils are flammable, so diffusing them with an open flame may not be safe.
Works Fast: Quickly fills the air with a larger amount of oils
Waterless: Doesn't require water to diffuse oils
No Heat: Doesn't use heat, it uses air flow to diffuse oils
Plastic Free: Majority of essential oil nebulizers are made of glass
No Humidification: This is especially helpful if you live in a humid area
How to Use Nebulizing Diffusers

How to Clean Your Diffusers
Once a week or two you should clean your nebulizer to keep it running well. We recommend you to clean your diffuser before you switch different essential oil.
- Discard all essential oil from the glass reservoir.
- Use a dropper to add 10-15 drops of rubbing alcohol to the glass reservoir, and gently swoosh it around so it goes over the whole thing.
- Discard all the rubbing alcohol.
- Add 5-10 drops to the glass reservoir, and turn diffuser on and let run 5-10 minutes to clean the glass tubes.
- Dispose of any remaining alcohol and let the glass diffuser air dry.
